It scales with how much your agent runs. Every confirmed five-second impression credits 70% of the current bid to your balance, and clicks pay 50× an impression. Heavy agent users with high-bid campaigns running earn the most.
Which coding agents and tools are supported?+
Claude Code (statusLine), Codex (notify hook), VS Code and Cursor (extension), plus any terminal via window title, MOTD, and prompt segments. The API is open, so anything with an HTTP client can integrate.
Will ads slow down my editor or shell?+
No. The client caches the current ad locally, fetches with a 1.5-second timeout, and fails silently when offline. Shell startup and prompt rendering stay instant.
Does deals.dev see my code or prompts?+
Never. The integration sends only your API key and platform name to fetch the next sponsored line. Nothing about your code, prompts, or files leaves your machine.
How do payouts work?+
Your balance accrues in real time in an auditable ledger. Once you cross $25 you can request a payout to PayPal, Venmo, Wise, or ACH from the dashboard.
